Computerized digital sampling music, mostly created with a program called Scream Tracker. Dan also used this program for portions of Pure Carp. The songs were originally unnamed. Later, they were all given 8-digit binary names like 10101101. Eventually, some songs were given more conventional names for The Early Years.
